Open Plane Day and More
MCVO is planning 2-day trips to the National Museum of the US Air Force this year.
Covering 830,000 sq-ft in 4 huge buildings, walking shoes are recommended. An impressive 350 aerospace vehicles and thousands of artifacts are all displayed indoors plus a food court is available for guests to purchase a snack or meal.
Admission is FREE
MCVO will be making a donation to help support this amazing museum.
March 12th was chosen as it’s Open Plane Day which allows attendees to tour exhibits which are normally off limits.
You can walk through a Republic P-27D Thunderbolt, nicknamed “The Jug”, also a BF 109G-19 (Messerschmitt) and a very special exhibit: Leonardo da Vinci Machines in Motion.
