2009 MCVO Viper Cruise and Chelsea Autocross

Continuing an MCVO tradition, we will hold a morning cruise followed by a fun autocross event at Chrysler Chelsea Proving Grounds. The cruise will be a brisk, but safe drive from Brighton through Hell and then onto Chelsea. This is a "must do" drive, run on some great roads throughout Livingston and Washtenaw counties. For those interested, we will be meeting for breakfast prior to the cruise and then rendevous our group at a designated point to begin the drive. Details will be made available soon.

The autocross a great opportunity to come out and play with your Viper on a wide-open course.... For this event we create a short race track using plastic cones and chalk lines on a very large tarmac surface. Autocrossing is a very safe for both you and your Viper. In general speeds are less than 60 mph and stress vehicle handling much more than power. If you have not participated in an autocross before, this is your chance. Even if you would rather not participate, this is a great opportunity to observe an autocross first hand.
So come on out and let’s play with our Vipers!

If you are unable to participate in the cruise, you can go straight to Chelsea Proving Grounds.
Plan on arriving at Chelsea no later than 10:00 a.m. We will enter the Proving Grounds at that time
and all cars must be present in order to enter as a group.
Directions to CPG:
I -94 to M-52 (Exit 159, about 15 miles west of Ann Arbor)
South on M-52 about 1.5 Mi CPG is on the west side.
