Jeff Morton Viper Picnic – June 24th

June 24, 2018 starting at 1:00pm

Our new “old” member Jeff Morton and his wife, Rachel, are opening up their beautiful home to our club.

The event will start at 1pm, and go till ?? (When the last person leaves!)

Jeff’s address is: 4852 N. Harsdale, Bloomfield Hills. You can click on the link for directions. There is ample parking at Jeff’s or his neighbors for our Snakes!

Members are encouraged to bring their bathing suits, a lawn chair and their beverages of choice.

Your Board has authorized a subsidy, so the food is on MCVO! That’s correct, this will cost you nothing!

All we ask is that you sign up, using the link provided, below. This way we can get an accurate count for buying the provisions. The cutoff for signup, will be June 22nd.

July Cruise Night – Duggan’s Irish Pub, July 18th

Duggan’s has been a landmark on Woodward for 33 GREAT YEARS & counting!

They have a full menu featuring their Famous “BIG CHIEF BURGER” along with Irish specialties. Duggan’s has many of the old favorite recipes that you may remember from the Totem Pole restaurant and Susie Q’s Fish & Chips. They also have 52 different draft beers on tap.

Mopars at the Red Barns – July 28th

Participants will pay upon entering the Gilmore property.

Registration with admission (includes 2 people) is $20.00 per show car; $5.00 for each additional person.

Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise – August 5th

Noon to 6pm

Baker College once again invited MCVO members back to attend Macomb County’s largest cruise.
The Cruise route is Gratiot Avenue from 14 Mile Road to Wellington Crescent (north of Metropolitan Parkway) and back, with Baker College directly in the middle of the action.

The cruise officially starts at noon, but you can arrive beginning at 10am.
There will be reserved parking for our snakes and bring your lawn chairs. Coolers are welcome too.

Location: Our new parking venue at 38500 Woodward Ave, Bloomfield Hills. The lot is slightly north of Lone Pine Rd., on the east side of Woodward. Click here for a satellite view.

Event Date: Thursday, August 16th, from 6:00pm till 10:00pm. Pizza will be served at 7:00pm.

Bob Swartz has found another gem for you car folks. Mercedes Benz has invited our club to participate in a totally free event, that has everything you’d want in a car show, and it’s all FREE!
There will be reserved parking for our Vipers
Lunch (Yes, free food)
Free Swag or Goodies
And if that’s not enough – Bob was able to twist their arm into giving us a tour of the Detroit Diesel Plant.

2018 Dream Cruise Saturday Parking – August 18th

Saturday August 18th, arrangements have been made for reserved parking at the Woodward Dream Cruise. Our NEW location is 38500 Woodward Ave. north of Big Beaver/Quarton on the East side of Woodward. Click here for a satellite view and directions’.

There will be restroom facilities available. Bottled water will be provided by the club.
The cost is $20 per Viper and daily drivers/trailers can be parked in the back lot at no charge. Click on the link below for payment with PayPal.

There will be access in and out of the parking lot for those who would like to cruise and return to the lot. Bring your chairs and tents so you can sit along Woodward and watch all the action.

2018 Harper Charity Cruise – August 29th

2018 Harper Charity Cruise
August 29th, from 5pm to 9pm
For over two decades, there has been a charity cruise on Harper Avenue, in St. Clair Shores. The cruise runs from Old Eight Mile to Bayside Street on Harper.
One of our newest members, John Huszti Jr., has graciously offered to be a liaison and coordinator for MCVO parking that evening. John’s friend who owns the Powerhouse Gym, has offered us exclusive parking alongside his building. We will be able to park about 15-20 Snakes adjacent to the building with additional parking in the back, if needed. There will be plenty of shaded seating out front.

The Powerhouse Gym is located at 25212 Harper Ave. (slightly north of 10 Mile) and you can find directions here. Please click on the following link to view an overhead of the parking.

The cruise runs from 5-9 pm, but you can start arriving as soon as 4pm.
John plans to go early in the morning to block off our area.

On April 21st, 17 came to do battle on the track, and only 3 made it to the winner’s podium.
