Motor City Viper Owners (MCVO) was established on August 5, 1994, to honor and enjoy the Dodge Viper automobile. One of the unique features of our Club is that many of our members are original Team Viper members, the then Chrysler team that designed, developed and manufactured the Dodge Viper here in the Motor City.
Members of our club also helped form the first national Viper Club, which has evolved into the Viper Owners Association (VOA). We are currently a regional chapter of the VOA. The geographic region for MCVO includes the entire State of Michigan, but we have members from adjacent states and Canada too!
MCVO maintains an active schedule of social, technical and driving events during the year. In addition, the Club facilitates communication on Vipers by maintaining a Club website, newsletters, Facebook page, and classified advertising.
The most important assets of the club are its members. You must own a Viper to join. Our approximately 170+ members and their families enjoy interacting during events such as our Spring Brunch, Wine Tour, Chelsea Autocross, Tech Days, Cruise-ins and Holiday Party. We maintain a year-round schedule of events. Our favorite slogan is: “You come for the car, but you stay for the people!” This could not be more true! We look forward to meeting you!
