Come join your fellow Viper friends for a tasty meal at Red Ox Tavern in Utica. The Red Ox bills itself as the area’s premier sports bar dining experience, with gluten-free and low-fat options available. They have a full bar and feature numerous Michigan breweries on-tap.

Most items on the menu are reasonably priced, and a sample menu can be found here.

Weather permitting we may be on the patio with heaters.

2018 Cider Mill and Frankenmuth Tour – Oct. 21st


October 21st – 8:30 AM

Join us for some fun Viper cruising with friends, cider, donuts, and good food! What could be better!

Our scenic Viper cruise will start at Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall with a fun stop at Past Tense Cider Mill in Lapeer. From there, we’ll head on to Frankenmuth for lunch at the elegant Lorelei Lounge located at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. (NOT the restaurant).

At 8:45 AM we’ll need to be gathered in the mall parking lot between parking markers 7B and 7D which are located near AMC Star Great Lakes 25 for our drivers meeting.

Your DOOR PRIZE ticket for the drawing at the Cider Mill will be handed out during the drivers meeting! Don’t be late!!

Route details will be sent in a future email to all participants.

From the mall we’ll cruise through some back road scenery to Past Tense Cider Mill where we’ll enjoy some cider and donuts courtesy of MCVO! We’ll have plenty of time to browse the antiques, local arts and crafts, and Halloween goods before heading to Frankenmuth. We’ll be rolling out of Past Tense at noon SHARP!

In Frankenmuth we have the Lorelei Lounge and Schnitzelbank Bier Garten reserved for our private use. Order authentic German dishes, their world famous fried chicken or whatever pleases you from the Bavarian Inn Restaurant menu. Afterwards, feel free to enjoy the walk across the covered bridge and browse the shops along Main Street before heading home.

WaterMark bills itself as American pub grub with global influences offered in a spacious, lakefront venue. They combine a great casual atmosphere with just a bit of elegance and offer a great view of Lake St. Clair to enjoy along with the company of your MCVO friends.

2018 Bocce Ball – November 18th

TIME: 4 P.M. until 8 P.M.
COST: $25.00 Per Person
Family-style dinner will be served at 4:30 P.M. and will consist of cheese pizza; pizza with cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms; house salad; Fettuccine Alfredo; mostaccioli w/meat sauce; bread basket and of course, dessert. Soft drinks, coffee, tea are also included and a cash bar is available.

After dinner, we will compete for the coveted bottle of wine trophies!

Come out to hone your Bocce Ball playing skills with your MCVO family at this much anticipated annual event.

We are all a little Italian when we play Bocce!
