2021 Spring Brunch – June 13th

Your MCVO is so happy to announce that this year we will be able to celebrate our Annual Spring Brunch … again!  The Brunch will be a little different from our normal event because of the current safeguards in place.  However, we will be able to socialize with all the Covid 19 protocols in place.

This year’s Brunch will be held at a different location.  It will be held under a very large banquet tent that can easily accommodate 300 people while observing the protocols.  Of course, the tent is set outside.  Masks are required for entry for the safety of all our members.  The meal will be served family style.

There will be reserved parking for our Vipers within view.  No worries!

Your MCVO Club has generously subsidized this event.

I hope you will make time to join your fellow Viperholics and renew your friendships and make new ones!
We have many new members this year.
We would love for you to come and let us meet and greet each other!
Traditionally this is one of our largest events of the year.

There are many activities planned for the day:
• Annual Meeting
• Meet the Board
• Joyce Allen Award presentation
• 50/50 Drawing
• Club merchandise will be available
• Auction items

2021 Day Trippin #1 – June 26th

Day Trippin’ with MCVO
Saturday June 26, 2021
9:00am Take Off

Kalamazoo Air Museum and more!
MCVO is starting the Day Trippin’ season in high flying style with

Vipers, Trains & Planes

The Flight Plan:

-A “low altitude” cruise along mostly off-highway roads.

-First “layover” Lost Railroad Museum in Grass Lake.  A beautifully done, local museum with virtual and live presentations plus many fine artifacts.

-A “flight delay” at “concourse” One Well Brewing in Kalamazoo for lunch, the “Air Marshal” reports they have dine-in, take out and patio service.  Their “beverage cart” has a selection of micro-brews.
Please note: indulging while “flying” is not endorsed by the club.

-“Departure” is on the “1/2 mile runway” (it’s a short drive)

-With “arrival” at Kalamazoo’s Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Experience.
A local treasure with two facilities on the same campus.  There are static displays plus restoration in progress.  It truly transcends time and space.

Your “Zoo ticket” is courtesy of MCVO
Food and Drink are the responsibility of the Pilot

-“Final destination” is an optional Cruise to Dinner at Zukey Lake Tavern, an MCVO favorite.

To register use the “Event Registration” Button below
If you miss the registration DEADLINE of 6/16 you’ll need to “stowaway”.
-Unfortunately stowaways can’t get a ticket pre-purchased by MCVO.  You’ll need to pay admission at the Air Zoo gate for your “seat assignment”.
