For those of you in MCVO who may not be attending the Fall Color Tour (scheduled for Oct. 20th), you may be interested to know that our Friends from the Northern Ohio Viper Club have invited us for a fun get-together and Cruise, that same weekend.

The Itinerary for the weekend is:
Friday Evening Meet & Greet & Cocktail Party at the Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Beachwood Ohio – walking distance from the Hotel
Saturday morning – Hotel has breakfast for $14.00 or First Watch is a nearby walk – Eat Hearty – we’re going to have a long day!
Saturday Cruise through Northern Ohio – Leave the hotel @ 9am, visit the Script Cleveland sign, in Tremont and continue to the Christmas Story House. 10-12:15
This is the famous house that the movie “A Christmas Story” originated from.
12:15 PM – We will depart leaving for lunch and drive through part of the park system that should provide a look at some beautiful fall colors. We will arrive 1:15, at Whiteys Booze n’ Burgers. It’s all about the parking! Lunch for Ohio Region Members will be provided by your club – $15.00 for Non-Members
2:30 PM – Save room for dessert – we are stopping by Country Maid Ice Cream / Apple Orchards They also have a store in the back selling Apples, Apple cider and a lot more. Lori may have some free scoop cards for us!
3:00 PM – we will depart (again will have scenic views) heading to Fairport we can go to The Fairport Harbor Marine Museum or Old Firehouse Winery. Arriving around 4:00PM
6:00 PM – heading to Pickle Bills. We have 6:30pm reservations. Sweetest Day is 10/19, so restaurants will be busy.

2019 Fall Color Tour – Oct. 20th – 9am

Join us for some fun Viper cruising with friends, cider, donuts, and good food! What could be better!

At 9:00 AM, be in the Big Boy’s parking lot for our drivers meeting. The meeting will begin promptly at 9:00 and we’ll be rolling out by 9:15

Your DOOR PRIZE ticket for the drawing, to be held later, at the Cider Mill, will be handed out during the drivers meeting!  Don’t be late!!

From Big Boy we’ll cruise through some back roads, featuring water scenery, to Speaker Lone Oak Orchard where we’ll enjoy some cider, donuts and hay rides, courtesy of MCVO!

2019 Bocce Ball – Nov. 16th

Family-style dinner will be served at 6:00 P.M. and will consist of cheese pizza; pizza with cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms; house salad; Fettuccine Alfredo; mostaccioli w/meat sauce; bread basket and of course, dessert. Soft drinks, coffee, tea are also included and a cash bar is available.

2019 GM Heritage Center Tour – Jan. 26th

January 26, 2019  11am – 1pm

For the fourth year in a row, Pasteiner’s Collectables & Hobbies will once again be hosting a tour of the General Motors Heritage Center. 

The Center is located at 6400 Center Dr, Sterling Heights.

The Center displays more than 200 of GM’s Concept Cars and Special Interest Styling/Performance One-Offs. It is not open to the Public so this is a great opportunity to see one of the greatest car collections in the World.

Tickets are $20 per person (cash or check please) and are available at the store or at the door.

The tour is open to everyone so feel free to invite your friends, and neighbors. This is a perfect way to cure your car withdrawals in the middle of a Michigan winter.

For those that would like to meet for breakfast beforehand, suggested time 9am, at The Pantry, 34220 Van Dyke Ave, Sterling Heights.

It’s been 2 years since we’ve been at the Moose Preserve for our Cruise Night. One of our favorite restaurants which has a great parking area, near the back of the lot.

The Moose Preserve fits like a pair of well-worn work gloves. Whether you’re in the mood for a Certified Black Angus Burger or filet mignon, their unique menu will satisfy every craving! For a look at their menu, you may click here.

2019 JD Indoor Karting – March 30th – Registration is Closed!

Please note later start time from previous years.

We will arrive at JD’s at 5:30pm, for a overview of the track, racing and safety rules. Helmets and head socks are provided, but you may bring your own.

Racing will begin around 6:00pm. Normally, a group will pay much more for this event, but our Board has approved a subsidy, that reduces the cost by 23%. The cost for this exhilarating evening is only $31.

If you’ve never been to JD’s, they recommend you create your driver profile online, before attending, to save time.  Click here to begin the process.
