2019 Wine Tour Official Registration

Please note that this official registration is only open to those that signed up during the initial signup period at the beginning of the year.

We would love to have all our members attend, but the Homestead no longer has available rooms.

The MCVO Wine Tour is the weekend of September 27, 28 and 29th.

68 people/35 cars responded “yes” to the “gauging interest” emails sent in February & March.

That’s a great response!

2019 Event of Interest – Snakes in the Grass – Sept. 28th

Snakes in the Grass – BIGGER AND BETTER

Traditionally we don’t offer two events on the same day, but for those of you not going on the Wine Tour, we thought this event of interest, would be a fun way to spend a fall day.

The Second Snakes in the Grass event will be September 28th at the beautiful and scenic Canterbury Village.

Last year was a huge success with our Cobra (GLCC) and Shelby (SAAC) friends. This year we have some ideas to make even better!!

This is a great opportunity to make new friends and enjoy coffee and donuts at Yates Cider Mill. Plus, to visit the great shops that Canterbury has to offer!

As an added attraction our SAAC-MCR (Motor City Region) friends arranged an opportunity to view an eclectic collection of rare cars owned by Neal Porter. Neal is a well-known car enthusiast in the Lake Orion area.

Following we plan a cruise (about 45 minutes) and lunch at Greg’s Restaurant in Metamora.

Here’s the itinerary for the day:
9:00 – 11:00: Canterbury Village coffee and Donuts and socialize
11:00: Depart for the Porter shop (Vette Products) located at:
405 Clarkston Rd. Lake Orion. About 4 miles from the Village.
Noon-ish: Depart and cruise to Metamora for a casual 1:00pm lunch at
Greg’s Restaurant, 3768 Lapeer Road, Metamora. Plenty of parking!

Please RSVP as we need to know how many people are interested in the full event or just Canterbury Village. You’ll also be able to view the responses on Who’s Attending.
